On Saturday, April 28th at 10 AM, all Manchester boaters are invited to the Manchester Yacht Club for a safety seminar with Bion Pike, the Manchester Harbormaster.  The seminar will be sponsored by the Manchester Harbor Boat Club, Manchester Sailing Association, Crocker’s Boat Yard, Manchester Marine and the Manchester Yacht Club.

Topics will range from kayak to cruising safety considerations, including the latest in Personal Flotation Devices and VHF radio technology.  Whom do you call in an emergency: the Harbormaster, the Coast Guard or a marine towing service?

We will demonstrate the use of emergency VHF radio features, fire extinguishers, flares and other safety equipment that we hope you will never need to use.  Please bring your expired flares with you.  Like all Safety Demonstration, it really helps if you have gone through the exercise.
