Heading into its 63rd year, MYC’s first PHRF race of the season, named for past MYC member General George S. Patton, draws the best racers from around the region with both racing and cruising classes. Starting at its traditional location in the vicinity of Gales Ledge off the Manchester by-the-Sea coastline, this classic ocean race offers long distance racing in and around Salem Bay. Known as “the race that started off soundings racing in Mass Bay”, this year’s event continues in its late June time slot with the first gun at 1100 hours and now offers a full five (5) hours of race time. For race registration and sailing instructions/Notice of Race, follow this LINK. Register by 1600 hours on June 25th. Questions? Please contact Race Chair Paula F. Filias at [email protected] or 978-360-3449.
