The Rhodes 19 East Coasts have been held on a revolving basis at clubs throughout New England including Marblehead, Rockport, Gloucester, and Hingham. With our growing fleet participation, this year MYC is excited to be hosting the event. In past years around 23 boats have turned out. We hope for at least that many. The first gun will be at noon on Friday, and we will try to fit three races in per day. The venue will be east of Bakers Island.
Participants should arrive by water because MYC does not have a hoist but if needed, there are two local boat yards that can be contracted for launching and hauling. Please let us know in advance if you will need a hoist. There will also be housing available for anyone coming from “away.” Please contact Charlie Thomas ([email protected]) or Shannon Lane ([email protected]) about housing needs. Registration fees are $200 per boat, which includes the cost of both Friday and Saturday night’s events for three boat members. Additional guests are welcome to attend the weekend’s festivities off the water for a $50 fee.
